One of my outfit staples is the frilly dress + leather/jean jacket combo. I love juxtaposing the girly against the rough, the mixing of textures. I know this is fashion 101 stuff, but the look is classic for a reason. The only problem is that summer temps generally prevent such layering. Enter the jean vest. I can't believe that I never thought of this before. If it's too hot to wear a jacket, just cut off the sleeves! This girl from Stockholm Street Style gets the look spot-on.

The combination of the white dress and the jean vest looks perfect. When mixing and matching clothes, I always aim for a combination that is comfortable. And to glam it up a bit, don't forget to add some accessories.
